"Explore and Discover Workshop," April 29, 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

AETN Arkansas STEM Girls in partnership with NWA Fab Lab will host a workshop for middle school girls, 4th - 7th grade.

An important goal for Arkansas is to increase the participation of women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by expanding the engagement of girls in STEM subjects using both formal and informal environments. Arkansas STEM Girls, provides workshops and special events to engage, educate, and inspire girls to pursue STEM careers. The Northwest Arkansas Fab Lab is a place where students, problem solvers and entrepreneurs can make their ideas come to life using tools like 3D printers and laser engravers.

The event takes place at the NWA Fab Lab (21 W. Mountain St., Ste.123, Garden Level, Fayetteville, AR 72702.) Class size is limited.
