Ever since Neil Armstrong took "one giant leap for mankind," people across the world have dreamed of exploring space for themselves and, lately, we've heard a lot of talk about folks planning their trips to Mars. Space travel isn't just a dream any more! But it IS up to the next generation of engineers to make these solar treks a reality. Help give your future astroengineer a boost with "Design Squad" and NASA's "Mission: Solar System"!

In partnership with NASA, PBS KIDS GO!'s "Design Squad" is helping train tomorrow's astroengineers, scientists and astronauts with their new program guide, "Mission: Solar System." This exciting program offers kids six hands-on challenges that parents and teachers can download here.

From designing an airbag-landing system to creating a robotic arm, the "Mission: Solar System" projects let kids apply science, technology, engineering and math skills to solve fun challenges. These engaging, hands-on on activities help kids think like NASA engineers and provide opportunities for teamwork and problem-solving. Even better? They present engineers as creative problem solvers who design things that matter and improve people's lives, so get ready to launch your kiddos into space exploration - and maybe even a future career!
