"Life From Lincoln Center: Ring Them Bells! A Kander & Ebb Celebration"

From low-watt avant-pop to high energy renditions of Broadway hits, it's a great night for music lovers this AETN Arts Friday! Tune in for "AETN Presents: On the Front Row With The Boondogs" at 6:30 p.m. and "Live From Lincoln Center: Ring Them Bells! A Kander & Ebb Celebration" at 9 p.m.

With a mellow, cutting-edge pop sound and deep emotional core, The Boondogs is one of the South's best kept musical secrets. Recorded on the heels of their release of "A Thousand Ships," this episode of "AETN Presents: On the Front Row" captures the band a particularly wonderful point of performance. Tune in as songwriters Indy Grotto and Jason Weinheimer join bassist Chris Michaels, drummer Isaac Alexander and electric guitarist at 6:30 p.m.

Then, shift gears with "Live From Lincoln Center" at 9 p.m. for a special celebration of Broadway collaborators Kander & Ebb. "Ring Them Bells!" features dozens of incomparable songs written by the dynamic duo, including "All That Jazz," "Mister Cellophane," "Wilkommen," "A Quiet Thing,"  "Maybe This Time" and "New York, New York." Broadway greats join to perform favorite standards. Featured guests include Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, Cita Rivera, Joel Grey, Rob Fisher and more.
