The November episode starts of by exploring the work of the Arkansas Forestry Commission. Established to protect Arkansas’s forests from wild land fire and natural hazards, the Arkansas State Plant Board is tasked with promoting rural and urban forest health, stewardship, development and conservation for all generations of Arkansans.

In the following segment, we’ll take a trip to Plummerville lumber mill Green Bay Packaging Pinecrest division. There, we’ll have the change to meet David Cawein and Johnny Garrett.

Agri Arkansas Little Rock Urban Farming Fig Production

We’ll also visit with Chris Hiryak of Little Rock Urban Farming to receive tips for improving fig production.

To close the program, we’ll join host Tony Brooks for a panel discussion with Joe Fox, Arkansas state forester, and Johnny Garrett of Green Bay Packaging Pinecrest Lumber Division.
