Be Sure to Watch! "Mentoring Youth"

Posted on 23 Aug 2011

This one-hour live show will consist of highly motivated individuals from various organizations that represent the iBelieve Community Coalition, including Centers for Youth and Families, Let Our Violence End (L.O.V.E.), Boys and Girls Club, and the OK Program among others who are developing creative ways for involving volunteers, mentors, and tutors in our community. The men you have just seen in the UNITY documentary are not only trying to make a difference in their current environment, but they also want to take this opportunity to teach others how to give back to the community and avoid going down the same roads that they have traveled.

Through this live show, you will hear stories of lives changed. You will hear stories of people giving of themselves to help others. You will be given the opportunity to use your gifts and talents in ways that will help make a difference in the lives of people, organizations, schools, your community, and in the lives of those who are closest to you. We invite you to call into this live broadcast with your comments and question as it concerns the UNITY broadcast and how you can get involved to make a difference in a child's life.

Mentoring Youth airs Wednesday, August 24 at 8 p.m.
