Doc Martin's big fear revealed Sun., Sept. 23 at 9

Posted on 21 Sep 2012

 Doc Martin banenr

The star of "Doc Martin" (uh, Doc Martin) has his big fear of blood revealed this Sunday.  Yes, odd isn't it, to have a doctor afraid of blood?  To the twisted joy of Portwenn residents, they ramp up the jokes and gossip spreads like wildfire (or jam on biscuits). It's also tourist season and goodness knows Doc loves quirky strangers! Get ready for "Haemophobia" airing Sunday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m.

This quirky little show comes to us from the picturesque yet fictional Portwenn, England with an even more quirky (and some could say completely rude, cruel, grumpy/sad…) local doctor who has little patience for, well, anyone other than himself (except possibly for Louisa - or Louis-ER as the accent allows. It's super fun if you growl it at the end of her name).  Not only do the jokes get ramped up in this one, but perhaps the love connection does as well.  If you haven't already, give this show a try - it has brilliant, smart actors, lovely scenery, and a slow pleasant life of its own.

TUNE IN:  "Doc Martin" airs Sunday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m.
