New season of "Arthur" Monday, Oct. 15!

Posted on 12 Oct 2012

A new character debuts in the new season of "Arthur."

The 16th season of "Arthur" stars Monday, Oct. 15 with five new episodes!Meet a new friend (with the gift of gab) a little brother who will drive you crazy too.  We are big fans of Arthur at my house. Actually, I should say…my son is the Arthur fan, my daughter prefers D.W. As is typical I suppose when you have a kid of each chromosome…AND don't forget the fun Halloween things to do on the website!  You can watch a trailer of the new season here.

My MOST favorite PBS KIDS app at the moment is D.W.'s Unicorn app.  Get this - it's not literacy, math, or science focused (although, yes, we can all use some of that). It's FOOD focused!  Points for riding your unicorn into the fresh raspberries and carrots, points taken away for 'energy zappers' like junk food.  Ouila!  Brilliant. Original - and fun - and, uh, makes me hungry...

If you need Arthur on the go, don't forget the PBS KIDS player to watch Arthur and the gang.  You know, emergencies like the restaurant freak out…the long car trip to see Granny at Thanksgiving…or the 'mommy timeout' for sanity.  Those 10 minutes are precious if you like sanity, that is.

TUNE IN:
"Arthur" Weekdays at 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Five new episodes start Mon. Oct. 15
