Have a date this Friday with Keith Harkin and Plácido Domingo

Join AETN for Arts Fridays this week as Keith Harkin goes solo with AETN at 6:30 p.m. and “Great Performances: Il Postino from LA Opera” with Plácido Domingo at 9 p.m.   YouÂ’ll see Keith HarkinÂ’s live performance at the AETN studios and hear that unmistakable operatic voice known around the world with the Los Angeles opera.  Keith Harkin is a vocalist with Celtic Thunder and comes from North Ireland – at 24 he has played to audiences across Europe and North America.  Some say they prefer his solo performance to that as part of a group.  He taped live at AETN, you wonÂ’t want to miss this unique, not often look at Celtic ThunderÂ’s young, blond, scruffy guy. You can watch Harkin as part of “AETN Presents: On the Front Row With Keith Harkin” at 6:30 this Friday, repeating Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 p.m.

Also airing Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. will be PBS Arts from Los Angeles “Great Performances: Il Postino from LA Opera” with Plácido Domingo. World-renowned tenor Plácido Domingo joins the LA Opera in this romantic new opera by composer Daniel Catán based on the Oscar-winning Italian film. Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer Linda Ronstadt hosts.
