For its 6th year running, AETNs 'Student Selects: A Young Filmmakers Showcase' gives creative, imaginative and film-loving students in grades K-12 the opportunity to showcase their cinematic talents through student-made fiction and non-fiction narratives, documentaries, music videos, and other creative works.
Participating high school seniors are also eligible to compete for one of four $2,500 scholarships provided by the THEA Foundation in Screenwriting, Directing, Cinematography, and Editing.
The Little Rock Film Festival on June 2-3, 2012 closes off the competition with a screening of the selected students and scholarship winners films and hands-on learning workshops with the LRFF Youth! Program.
For more information and submission forms, check out the Student Selects website or contact Producer Casey Sanders at csanders@aetn.org or Associate Producer Joseph Rowland at jrowland@aetn.org.
Scholarship entries must be received by April 6 and all other entries postmarked by April 6. You can watch films from previous years online.
Happy Filming!
