Music Voyager follows host Jacob Edgar – an ethnomusicologist, cultural musician and music critic – as he searches the globe for the best in world music.

Jacob talks to local musicians in the cities he visits and educates viewers on the musical techniques and instruments used in different parts of the world.

In addition to uncovering some of music’s most exotic sounds, Jacob also samples the cuisine, tours the sights, and experiences the night life. Music Voyager presents viewers a backstage pass to the history, culture, and musical talents of countries including India, Jamaica, Colombia and the United States.

Music Voyager airs Tuesdays and Thursdays on Create beginning May 23 at 8:30 p.m.
