"Downton Abbey: Season 3" Event Photos

On Dec. 19, the AETN Foundation had a (figurative) ball at the Jazz Age Cocktail Reception and "Downton Abbey: Season 3" Screening Event. Mary and Matthew drama erupted, Shirley MacLaine made her grand entrance, the quipped and schemed - all truly wonderful. But even better? Our fabulous viewers and friends who attended!

From elegant ladies and lordly gents …

and the Downstairs crew, you all had quite the turn out!

With hats …

(and even riding crops) ...

you all set the bar high for the costume contest. Believe us when we say that we couldn't choose everyone we wanted to as finalists - just look at the photos on Flickr!

In the end, though, the Downstairs crew swept the audience's vote.

Funnily enough, our winners were brother and sister, which, we suppose, proves that not all siblings are rivals when it comes to Downton!

Of course, in addition to the stupendous costumes, there was much more fun to be had with delicious food from Starving Artist Cafe, drinks from Glazer's Distributors, Inc., of Arkansas - including a signature Lady Mary champagne cocktail, and beautiful music provided by members of the Conway Symphony Orchestra.

Feeling sad you missed the event? There's no reason to despair! While we can't promise your shindig will be quite so wonderful as ours (if we do say so ourselves), we're quite happy to invite you to out-do us.
