It’s a New Cooking Weekend on CREATE

Whip up something special this weekend with AETN’s CREATE channel this Saturday! With new episodes of “Simply Ming” and “Lidia’s Italy in America,” as well as the premiere of “Martha Stewart’s Cooking School,” it’s bound to be delicious!

While, if we were following the Emily Post guide, a tenth anniversary present usually involves tin or aluminum, Ming Tsai is giving back to his audiences with 26 all-new episodes of “Simply Ming”! This season ,we’ll be learning to cook on the fly with Ming and an all-star lineup of guest chefs, including pastry chef Duff Goldman, international chef Susur Lee and San Francisco’s Chris Cosentino. You’ll also enjoy regional influences throughout the season as Ming travels to San Antonio, Chattanooga and the Azores. Start the new season with us Saturday at 11:30 a.m.

Of course, who could forget “Lidia’s Italy in America”? Longtime favorite Lidia Bastianich is back with a new season and a new book! Explore Italian culture and cuisine with her in a new episode Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

Then comes one of the ladies we associate most closely with food programming (and perfectionism), Martha Stewart. We’re excited to introduce “Martha Stewart’s Cooking School,” which will be joining our Saturday lineup at 4:30 p.m. Each episode presents a cooking master class focusing on a different cooking technique, such as braising, roasting, and butchering. And what comes first in this outstanding series? Rather appropriately, a session on eggs!
