“Three Faiths, One God” Explores Shared Beliefs

Posted on 10 Aug 2012

Three Faiths, One God

Thoughtfully examine the religious beliefs and practices shared by Jews, Christians and Muslims on Sunday, August 12, at 7 p.m. in “Three Faiths, One God: Judaism, Christianity, Islam.” The impressive documentary captures a broad range of voices and illustrates how many members of the three communities are working to understand and respect each other.

From ordinary people to respected scholars in the interfaith field, the program captures the voices of people from all walks of life to contrast the religious practices of the three faiths, including the rituals of fasting and marriage. In addition to providing valuable insight into the similarities between Judaism, Christianity and Islam, “Three Faiths, One God” features dramatic and moving examples of reconciliation as members of the various faith communities work to open dialogues and create better understandings of each other’s faiths.
