"Exploring Arkansas" - NEW
Millie Calhoun, age 88, has always dreamed of floating the Buffalo National River, and this month, we’re making that dream come true by arranging her first tip down America’s first national river. The theme of water recreation continues with kayaking and tubing at the Whitewater Recreation Park near Siloam Springs and swimming and diving at the Longpool Recreation Area near Dover. Monday, Aug. 4, at 6:30 p.m.  

"Mark Twain: Part Two"
Join Ken Burns for the second half of the exploration of the life of an American icon. Examining the writer’s struggles with failure, following tragedy and bad financial decisions, this episode contrasts Twain’s wildly successful career with Clemens’ inept business decisions.

In this new, one-hour long prehistoric creature feature, kids can travel through time with the Pteranodon family to an Olympic-style competition with dinosaur teams represent three Mesozoic time periods compete in contests.  

"Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood: Season 2" - PREMIERE
Ugga mugga! Daniel Tiger returns for a new, 25-episode season this fall and is set to explore what it means to be a big helper and how to deal with change and making mistakes. Special episodes will also be based on Fred Rogers’ theory to “look for the helpers” in times of distress. All of the great new fun begins with the arrival of Daniel’s new baby sister Margaret.

"Great Performances at the Met: Cosi Fan Tutte"
Music director James Levine makes his long-awaited return to the Met podium to conduct Mozart’s beloved opera about testing the ties of love. Susanna Phillips and Isabel Leonard star as sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella; Matthew Polinzani and Rodio Pogossov play their lovers; and Danielle de Niese gives life to the scheming Despina.   

"Masterpiece Theater: Breathless" - PREMIERE

This stylish and compelling new medic drama is set in London in 1961; Jack Davenport (of "Smash" and "Pirates of the Caribbean") stars as a brilliant surgeon who believes he can make a difference in women's lives. 

In the first episode, all is not as it seems for the brilliant and charismatic surgeon Otto Powell and his clamorous wife Elizabeth as hospital colleagues vie for power, temptation smolders and a dangerous old secret is drudged up.
