Before coming to AETN, Chuck Dovish was mainly known for his “Travelin’ Arkansas” segments which aired on KTHV- Channel 11 for more than 25 years. Since October of 2005, Chuck has been producing and hosting –“Exploring Arkansas” which showcases all the high adventure the Natural State has to offer. This one-of-a-kind program features the most breathtaking and spectacular sights in Arkansas. There’s extreme adventure like hang gliding, kayaking, rappelling, wild caving, not to mention some of Arkansas’ best kept secrets such as secluded and scenic waterfalls and unusual wildlife.
Chuck has been exploring Arkansas for more than 30 years and continues to surprise and entertain viewers with his sights and subjects. His philosophy throughout the years has always been to illuminate the culture and heritage of Arkansas, in addition to conservation and preservation of the pristine outdoors of the Natural State. He says he’s always trying to promote our great state in any way, shape or form that he can.
“Exploring Arkansas” can be seen Monday nights at 6:30 on AETN. The show repeats Sundays at 4:30pm.
Who am I. huh. Marketing Director for AETN. Somebody's mom...happily. Athlete....painfully. Life-time lover of public t.v. and NPR...intelligently. I can't help myself. It's good stuff, man.
Dan Koops, an outreach producer and 22-year veteran here at AETN, a job that is always challenging and at times extremely rewarding. And although we all wear lots of hats here, one of my main responsibilities is to develop and work with community partners and AETN/PBS content producers to extend the reach and scope of the our broadcast offerings well past the air dates. This is done in a variety of ways; including workshops, town hall meetings, leadership summits, exhibits, program screenings and a variety of "new media" techniques like this AETN Engage web site. Working with willing community partners never fails to be the best way to reach out and engage so many of Arkansas's communities.

Arlton is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he received a B.A. in Mass Communications and minored in Information Technology.
