AETN to feature new episodes of 'LOUPE' May 1-29

'LOUPE,' the broadcast portion of the Arkansas Educational Television Network's statewide arts initiative of the same name, will premiere five new episodes beginning Monday, May 1, and airing weekly on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. LOUPE magnifies Arkansas artists, arts organizations and art events through the broadcast, as well as an interactive companion website, aetn.org/loupe.

This season of 'LOUPE' is a celebration of Arkansas Heritage Month and will feature short films focusing on the arts and culture of Arkansas. The series includes: profiles of the Governor's Arts Award recipients for 2016 and 2017; an adaptation of D.H. Lawrence's 'The Rocking-Horse Winner'; a historical docudrama; and pieces covering photography, architecture and music.
