Dovish brings high-flying adventure to AETN
Chuck Dovish takes viewers on an engineless flight in the next episode of "Exploring Arkansas," airing on the Arkansas Educational Television Network Monday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m.Dovish travels to Wynne where he takes to the skies in a glider – or "sailplane" – which is designed to sustain flight and soar without an engine.
The program’s next stop is the Alum Cove Recreation Area south of Jasper, home to one of the state’s largest natural bridges and eerie cave-like rooms.The episode wraps up with the Buffalo Gap Auto Tour, which offers a unique back roads look at the Ouachita National Forest."Exploring Arkansas" is a one-of-a-kind program that showcases what Arkansas is all about and focuses on the extreme adventures available in the Natural State. Each episode includes high adventure and outdoor recreation, featuring some of the most breathtaking and spectacular sights in Arkansas.Chuck Dovish has been on the road in the Natural State for more than 30 years. He began "Exploring Arkansas" for AETN in May of 2004.
