Huntsville High School claimed the 4A conference title in the Arkansas Governor’s Academic Competition Quiz Bowl Saturday, April 19, against Subiaco Academy. The final score was 260 to 195. The team includes: Kelsey Whitley, Claudia Richardson, Ryan Watson, Jessica Tvrz;  Kip Edgmon, Coach Bill Epperson, Jason Doll, Tristan Sokol and Assistant Coach Tyler Tvrz. The Arkansas Educational Television Network has hosted and aired the live competition since 1985. Students were challenged with difficult questions in literature, math, science, history, art, music and economics. This year, the top two teams from each of the seven conferences advanced to the State Conference Finals, resulting in seven champions.
