Little Rock Christian claimed the 5A conference title in the Arkansas Governor’s Academic Competition Quiz Bowl Saturday, April 19, against Morrilton. The final score was 245 to 195. The team includes: Jackman Corley, MVP Chris Mullen, Michael Thompson, Emma Gist; Coach Danny Erlandson, Tim Nissen and John Lepine. The Arkansas Educational Television Network has hosted and aired the live competition since 1985. Students were challenged with difficult questions in literature, math, science, history, art, music and economics. This year, the top two teams from each of the seven conferences advanced to the State Conference Finals, resulting in seven champions.
