The PBS Arts Summer Festival will premiere on the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) as part of AETN Arts Fridays June 29. AETN Arts Fridays provides Arkansans with world-class arts and culture programming, including the locally produced series “AETN Presents” at 6:30 p.m. and the PBS Arts Summer Festival at 9 p.m.

Architect Moshe Safdie’s extraordinary new Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City provides the backdrop for "Homecoming: The Kansas City Symphony Presents Joyce Didonato". This performance-documentary profiles Grammy Award-winning mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, the young musicians of the Kansas City Symphony, and artistic director and conductor Michael Stern. Airing at 6:30 p.m. will be "AETN Presents: Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys."

"Havana, Havana!" vibrates with the soul and energy of African-Cuban drummers, guajira guitarists, and the pulsing melodies of celebrated Cuban musician Raul Paz as he brings together fellow musical stars Descemer Bueno, Kelvis Ochoa and David Torrens to give their first concert together for the Cuban people.
