Barnes and... A Conversation With Elizabeth Hill & Michael Polston

Steve is joined by Elizabeth Griffin Hill and Michael D. Polston who share pieces of history regarding Arkansas' involvement in World War I. Hill, author of "Faithful to Our Tasks: Arkansas's Women and the Great War", talks about the important roles and contributions women made during the war that sparked an era of change for women socially and economically. Polston, editor of "To Can the Kaiser: Arkansas and the Great War", speaks on how World War I changed the state through its connection to the rest of the world. Both books are published by Butler Center Books.
