TRANSCRIPT

HI WELCOME BACK.

TODAY WE'RE GOING TO DO ANOTHER FUN PAINTING SO LET'S GET STARTED. THE FIRST THING WE'RE GOING TO DO IS PAINT OUR SKY SO I WILL TAP A 2" BRUSH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF PRUSSIAN BLUE.

NOW I'VE ALREADY COATED THE CANVAS WITH THIN WHITE MEDIUM AND WE WILL RUN THE COLORS ACROSS HERE SO YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I AM USING TO PAINT TODAY.

WE DON'T NEED A LOT OF SKY TODAY, JUST A LITTLE BIT OF THIS BLUE HERE.

ALL RIGHT. MAYBE WE WILL MAKE THE CORNERS A LITTLE DARKER BECAUSE I THINK WE WILL HAVE SOME HUGE CLOUDS TODAY.

SO WE'RE GOING TO LEAVE SOME AREAS OPEN FOR THEM. THAT'S PROBABLY JUST ABOUT RIGHT. MAYBE GIVE IT A QUICK BLEND LIKE THIS HORIZONTALLY JUST TO EVEN THIS ALL OUT.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO START WORKING ON SOME CLOUDS. SO I WILL TAP THE 2" BRUSH THROUGH A LITTLE BIT OF MIDNIGHT BLACK AND DARK SIENNA.

NOW THESE CLOUDS WILL BE MADE JUST BY SWIRLING WITH THAT BRUSH AND THIS IS JUST THE DARK SHADOW PART OF THE CLOUD.

WE WILL COME BACK AND ADD SOME HIGHLIGHTS AND MAKE IT VERY BRIGHT.

NOW WE'RE JUST LOOKING FOR A LITTLE SHADOW.

UP HERE MAYBE WE WANT A BIGGER CLOUD AND IT COMES IN LIKE THAT.

OKAY.

WE WILL WORK ON THIS JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE LATER.

HERE'S A LITTLE DARK PAINT.

THERE IS THE TINNIEST TOUCH OF BLUE.

THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO BLEND OUT THE SHADOW PART OF THE CLOUDS SO I HAVE A 2" BRUSH AND THIS ONE IS CLEAN AND VERY LIGHTLY JUST GOING TO GO IN CIRCLES ONLY ENOUGH TO MIX UP THE PAINT MAKE IT SOFT.

DON'T WANT TO LOSE ALL OF THE VARIATIONS BETWEEN LIGHT AND DARK.

LEAVE SOME OF THEM IN THERE AND WE WILL DO THE SAME TO THIS SIDE KIND OF PULL THE LON ONES OUT LIKE THAT. NEXT I WILL PULL A 1" BRUSH THROUGH A LITTLE BIT OF TITANIUM WHITE AND WITH THAT WE'RE GOING TO BEGIN HIGHLIGHTING OUR CLOUDS.

NOW I'M USING ONLY THE CORNER OF THE BRUSH AND I AM KIND OF DOING LITTLE CIRCLES AND THIS PUTS THE HIGHLIGHT OUT HERE ON THE EDGE.

TURN THE BRUSH AND GO THE OTHER WAY.

ALL RIGHT.

BE SURE TO LEAVE A LOT OF THE DARK IN YOUR CLOUDS.

WE SPENT SO MUCH TIME PUTTING IT IN WE WANT TO SAVE SOME SO WE CAN SEE IT.

IT WILL MAKE THE CLOUDS LOOK LARGER AND MORE THREE DIMENSIONAL.

IT WILL LOOK VERY STORMY AND LET'S DO SOME RIGHT HERE.

OKAY.

AND LET'S GO AHEAD AND MAKE THIS CLOUD BIGGER.

WE WILL JUST KEEP SWIRLING IN THAT COLOR.

NOW YOUR BRUSH IS GOING TO PICK UP THIS BLUE AND THE BLACK AND THE BROWN THAT WE PUT IN HERE, BUT DON'T FIGHT IT. IT'S NICE.

IT KIND OF TIES IN THE WHOLE CLOUD TOGETHER.

ALL RIGHT.

LOOK AT ALL THAT DARK I'M LEAVING IN THERE.

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT.

BE SURE YOU SAVE SOME OF THE DARK.

NOW MAYBE WE WANT ONE RIGHT THERE TOO.

AND JUST A FEW RIGHT IN HERE.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO BLEND OUT THE HIGHLIGHT PART OF THE CLOUDS, SO I HAVE A 2" BRUSH, AND I'M GOING TO VERY LIGHTLY JUST WORK AWAY THE BOTTOM OF THE HIGHLIGHT.

I AM WORKING IT INTO THE DARK PAINT WE ALREADY HAVE DOWN. MAKES IT VERY SOFT.

AND OCCASIONALLY YOU MAY WANT TO WIPE YOUR BRUSH OFF ON A PAPER TOWEL.

THAT WILL REMOVE JUST A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT.

IT WILL MAKE IT BLEND A LITTLE BIT EASIER.

BE CAREFUL NOT TO DESTROY YOUR WHOLE CLOUD.

YOU JUST WANT TO SOFTEN IT.

YOU CAN DO THIS TOO MUCH AND YOU WILL LOSE IT ALL.

IT WILL BECOME ONE FLAT COLOR AND WE DON'T WANT THAT. WE WANT A LOT OF NICE THINGS HAPPENING IN OUR CLOUDS TODAY. NEXT WE'RE GOING TO BUILD A LITTLE MOUNTAIN SO I HAVE JUST A LITTLE BIT OF GRAY ON THE KNIFE.

WE'RE GOING TO DROP IN THE BASIC SHAPE OR OUTLINE OF THIS MOUNTAIN.

NOW TODAY THIS MOUNTAIN IS NOT GOING TO BE VERY LARGE.

IT'S GOING TO BE KIND OF FAR AWAY IN THE DISTANCE. NOW I'M JUST LAYING THIS PAINT ON PRETTY THINLY, NOT TOO MUCH PAINT.

IF YOU GET TOO MUCH ON HERE IT WILL MAKE THE HIGHLIGHTING STEP A LITTLE MORE DIFFICULT, SO WE'RE GOING TO BE KIND OF SPARING WITH THE PAINT TODAY, AND I THINK I'M GOING TO THINK ABOUT A RIDGE, MAYBE A WHOLE LINE OF MOUNTAINS COMING ALL THE WAY ACROSS THIS PAINTING. KIND OF USE THE POINT OF THE KNIFE TO DRAW THEM IN.

THEY'RE NOT VERY DARK.

THEY'RE TOO FAR AWAY.

THEN LET THEM GENTLY FADE OUT WHERE YOU ALMOST CAN'T SEE THEM BACK HERE.

WE WILL BLEND THAT OUT AND MAKE IT LOOK VERY SOFT.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO BLEND OUT THIS MOUNTAIN SO I HAVE A 1" BRUSH HERE AND I'M GOING TO GRAB THIS MOUNTAIN AT THE TOP AND GENTLY BLEND DOWN.

NOW THIS BLENDING HERE WILL MAKE IT SEEM VERY SOFT AT THE BOTTOM. IT WILL ALSO REMOVE A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT AND NOW OUT HERE THIS IS GOING TO BE VERY LIGHT, ALMOST CAN'T SEE ANY DETAIL AT ALL.

SEE THAT.

LET IT JUST DISAPPEAR OUT THERE.

THEN GO ACROSS THE BOTTOM.

THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH.

NOW LET'S MIX UP A COLOR FOR THE HIGHLIGHTS ON THE MOUNTAIN.

THERE'S SOME DARK SIENNA AND YELLOW OCHRE.

MIX THOSE TOGETHER.

THEN WE WILL ADD SOME WHITE.

NOW LOOK AT THIS.

YOU HAVE A MILLION DIFFERENT VARIATIONS IN COLOR THERE AND WHEN YOU CUT ACROSS THOSE VARIATIONS ARE IN THAT A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT.

WITH THAT A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT OUT ON THE KNIFE WE CAN GENTLY DROP IN SOME HIGHLIGHTS.

THIS IS DONE SO LIGHTLY.

PUSH TOO HARD AND IT WILL MIX TOGETHER AND YOU WON'T BE HAPPY WITH IT.

NOW TODAY I WANT A VERY STEEP MOUNTAIN.

SO I'M GOING TO THINK ABOUT A VERY STEEP ANGLE AS I DO THIS ALMOST STRAIGHT UP LIKE THAT AREA RIGHT THERE.

OKAY.

LOOK HOW I'M LEAVING DARK AREAS IN THIS MOUNTAIN AND NOT HIGHLIGHTING IT SOLID.

THAT WOULDN'T LOOK AS GOOD.

IN FACT LET'S MAKE HAVE A LITTLE THAT STICKS OUT LIKE THAT JUST TO CHANGE IT UP.

WE CAN DO WHATEVER WE WANT WITH OUR MOUNTAIN.

OKAY.

NOW THIS IS JUST THE FIRST HIGHLIGHT.

WE'RE GOING TO COME BACK AND ADD SOME ALMOST PURE WHITE ON HERE AND MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THE SUN IS CATCHING SOME OF THESE PEAKS BUT FOR NOW WE WILL JUST USE THIS COLOR.

ALL RIGHT.

DON'T BE IN A RUSH WHEN YOU DO THIS.

TRY TO THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE DOING.

THINK ABOUT THE ANGLES.

YOU CAN EVEN PLAN IT OUT IN YOUR MIND BEFORE YOU START IF YOU WANT TO.

IF YOU PUSH TOO HARD HERE THEN YOU'RE GOING TO MIX ALL THESE NICE COLORS TOGETHER, AND IT REALLY -- IT WILL LOOK LIKE MUD, AND IT WILL BE JUST A LIGHT GRAY COLOR, AND IT WON'T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING AT ALL BUT I WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE A VERY FAR AWAY MOUNTAIN CATCHING THE SUNLIGHT.

NOW YOU MAYBE WONDER WHY I AM NOT PULLING DOWN SO MUCH AND USING THE KNIFE LIKE THIS AND RUBBING DOWN.

I AM DOING THAT SO I HAVE ALL THESE LINES IN HERE, THE AREAS WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS SHADOW BUILT IN ALREADY.

I THINK THOSE ARE GREAT, BUT IF YOU'RE DOING ONE YOU LIKE TO DO IT THE OTHER WAY. THAT'S FINE.

THERE LOOK AT THAT. THINK ABOUT WHERE YOU WANT YOUR SHADOWS TOO.

THIS MOUNTAIN CAN'T BE ALL HIGHLIGHT.

IT WOULDN'T LOOK GOOD.

NOW AS WE COME AWAY FROM THAT BIG PEAK I THINK WE NEED IT TO GET SOFTER SO I'M ACTUALLY GOING TO PUSH A LITTLE HARDER AND I AM LETTING THE PAINT MIX.

SEE THAT.

YOU GET THAT KIND OF A MUDDY COLOR THERE BUT THIS WORKS THIS.

IS ONE RARE TIME I WANT MY COLORS TO BE KIND OF MUDDIED.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO ADD A LITTLE SUNLIGHT ON THIS MOUNTAIN SO I HAVE ALMOST PURE WHITE.

I'M GOING TO JUST TOUCH, TOUCH IN JUST A COUPLE OF AREAS.

LET ME USE THE SMALL SIDE OF THE KNIFE.

NOW I'M TOUCHING AND THEN I'M GOING TO WORK THIS PAINT INTO THE MOUNTAIN. BE CAREFUL HERE.

DON'T OVER DO. ONLY A LITTLE BIT.

AND DO IT ONLY WHERE YOU THINK THE LIGHT WOULD CATCH THE BRIGHTEST AREAS IN HERE.

DON'T HIGHLIGHT THE WHOLE MOUNTAIN WITH THIS WHITE OR IT WON'T BE EFFECTIVE.

IT WILL JUST LOOK BRIGHT AND I WANT IT TO LOOK LIKE SUNLIGHT IS HITTING A FEW OF THESE PEAKS. NEXT WE'RE GOING TO DROP IN A LITTLE HINT OF SHADOW.

DON'T NEED TOO MUCH HERE, JUST ENOUGH. AND MAYBE TWO OR THREE OVER HERE.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO SOFTEN THIS MOUNTAIN, SO I'M GOING BACK TO THE 2" BRUSH TO GIVE IT A LIGHT LITTLE BLEND.

NOW OVER HERE WE CAN BLEND IT A LITTLE MORE.

IN FACT I'M GOING TO GO OVER THE WHOLE THING.

LOOK AT THAT AND HOW IT PUSHES IT BACK MILES INTO THE DISTANCE.

JUST A FEW BRUSH STROKES YOU CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS AROUND.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO CREATE A MEADOW THAT'S VERY FAR AWAY, SO I HAVE THE 1" BRUSH AND I'M GOING TO TAP IT THROUGH THE TINY BIT OF GREEN. THERE'S VERY LITTLE PAINT HERE, JUST ENOUGH THAT WE SEE A TINY BIT OF COLOR.

THAT'S ALL I WANT AND LET THAT GRASS RUN UP THE MOUNTAIN.

IT'S MIXING HERE WITH THE LIGHT.

IT'S BECOMING LIGHTER.

THE MORE YOU WORK IT THE LIGHTER IT WILL BECOME. ALMOST NOTHING BACK IN THERE. ALL RIGHT.

GO JUST A TOUCH DARKER ON THIS SIDE.

WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF GREEN AND BLUE ON THE 1" BRUSH WE'RE GOING TO BEGIN THINKING ABOUT SOME DISTANT HILLS IN THE BACKGROUND.

THESE HILLS ARE SO FAR AWAY, SO WE'RE JUST GOING TO WORRY ABOUT THE BASIC OUTLINE.

THEN FILL THEM IN.

THE REASON I ADDED THAT BLUE TO THE COLOR IS BECAUSE IN THE BACKGROUND THINGS SHOULD HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF BLUE IN THEM AND THEN WE WILL ADD WARMER COLORS AS THEY COME FORWARD.

THAT WILL CREATE A LOT OF DEPTH AND DISTANCE IN OUR LANDSCAPE.

KIND OF FILL IT IN WITH BIG OVERLAPPING X'S.

NOW DOWN HERE I DON'T THINK WE'RE GOING TO HAVE ANY HILLS.

I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE A NICE VALLEY IN HERE.

MAYBE WE WILL THINK ABOUT A NICE STREAM THAT RUNS THROUGH THE PAINTING SO WE WILL BLOCK IT IN WITH COLOR FOR NOW.

NOW I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU A REALLY UNIQUE WAY OF CREATING SOME GRASS SO I HAVE A PAPER TOWEL AND I FOLDED IT UP AND I'M GOING TO PULL IT THROUGH A LITTLE YELLOW AND WHITE.

JUST PULL A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT AND I'M GOING TO JUST

SWIPE ACROSS AND THE MORE YOU PLAY WITH THIS THE SMOOTHER IT WILL BECOME AND I SUGGEST YOU START OFF SLOWLY AND YOU CAN WORK THE PAINT IN MORE LATER IF YOU WANT TO.

THINK ABOUT THE LAY OF THE LAND AS YOU'RE DOING THIS.

WE'LL JUST DO THIS AT RANDOM.

THINK ABOUT THE WAY YOUR MOUNTAINS ARE LITTLE HILLS BACK HERE ARE SHAPED AND ALSO THE LIGHT HERE IN THE VALLEY.

TRY TO KEEP THE BRIGHTER COLORS HERE IN THE MIDDLE.

YOU MAY HAVE TO CHANGE PAPER TOWELS TWO OR THREE TIMES WHEN THIS ONE STARTS TO WEAR OUT.

NOW WHEN YOU'RE FINISHED WITH YOUR PAPER TOWEL YOU CAN USE THE FILBERT BRUSH AND A LITTLE GREEN AND BLACK AND WE WILL TAP IN THE BASIC SHAPE AND OUTLINE OF TREES ON THE HILLS. NOW THE TREES SHOULD BE DARK IN THE BACKGROUND AND LIGHTER AND CREATE THE DEPTH AND DISTANCE IN THE PAINTING AND NOT TOO MANY AND JUST TEXTURE THERE AND RELOAD THE BRUSH AND COME FORWARD AND GET DARKER NOW. NOW WHEN YOU'RE DOING THIS YOU REALLY ARE CREATING THE LAY OF THE LAND HERE SO YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO DECIDE HOW YOUR MOUNTAIN REGULAR SHAPED BECAUSE THIS IS REALLY GOING TO DO IT.

ONCE THE TREES ARE IN YOU'RE GOING TO KNOW EXACTLY ALL THE ANGLES OF YOUR MOUNTAIN.

YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BE PATIENT HERE.

THIS ISN'T SUPER QUICK.

YOU'RE PAINTING QUITE A FEW LITTLE TREES AND MAYBE HAVE THEM COME DOWN LIKE THAT.

YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT HERE.

RELOAD QUITE OFTEN.

ALL RIGHT.

LET'S PUT THAT SIDE ON HOLD.

COME OVER TO THIS SIDE.

JUST TAP.

RELOAD. THIS IS JUST MIDNIGHT BLACK AND SAP GREEN AND THERE THEY GO. WHEN YOU'RE DONE ADDING IN THESE TREES WE CAN THINK ABOUT A LITTLE STREAMS IN THE BACKGROUND.

I WILL LOAD UP A LITTLE WHITE ON THE SCRIPT LINER BRUSH AND HERE WE GO.

JUST BEGIN DROPPING IT IN.

SMALL IN THE BACKGROUND AND AS IT COMES FORWARD WE WILL LET IT GET LARGER.

NOW WE DON'T HAVE TO SEE THE WHOLE THING. DIDN'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT. MAKE THIS SHAPE VERY ROUGH.

IT SHOULD BE GETTING LARGER AS IT COMES TOWARD US.

IF YOUR PAINT DOES NOT COME OFF, IF IT'S MIXING TOO MUCH WITH THE GREEN THEN ADD JUST A TOUCH OF PAINT THINNER. ALL RIGHT.

THAT'S LOOKING PRETTY GOOD, JUST BLOCK IT IN LIKE THAT.

WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF DARK PAINT ON THE SCRIPT LINER BRUSH WE CAN DROP IN A DARK LINE RIGHT ABOVE OUR LITTLE RIVER BACK HERE.

THIS WILL HELP MAKE IT LOOK MORE THREE DIMENSIONAL, KIND OF LIFT IT UP.

ALL RIGHT.

JUST A LITTLE LINE BUT IT MAKES SUCH AN IMPACT.

NOW WE'RE GOING TO ADD A FEW TREES BY THE RIVER.

NOW NORMALLY I THINK YOU WOULD SEE A LOT OF TREES BY WATER, SO I THINK I WILL LINE ALMOST THE ENTIRE RIVER WITH TREES JUST DROP THEM RIGHT IN. NOW IF YOU PRESS DOWN LIKE THIS AND YOU DON'T GET A TREE THIN DOWN THE PAINT A LITTLE BIT, A COUPLE OF DROPS OF PAINT THINNER SHOULD DO IT. WE ALSO WANT SOME TREES ON THIS SIDE OF THE RIVER TOO.

JUST DROP THEM IN ANYWHERE YOU THINK THEY WOULD LOOK GOOD IS A PERFECT SPOT FOR THEM.

RELOAD AND WE WILL JUST DO A FEW MORE.

NOW I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU HOW TO CLEAN UP THE BOTTOM OF THESE TREES SO I'M GOING TO CLEAN PAPER TOWEL AND I FOLDED IT UP AGAIN, AND VERY LIGHTLY JUST GOING TO GRAB THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE AND BLEND IT.

I'M TOUCHING EXTREMELY LIGHT.

I DON'T WANT TO DESTROY EVERYTHING, JUST WANT TO SOFTEN IT.

NOW IT'S NOT TOTALLY IMPORTANT THAT WE GET EVERY SINGLE TREE.

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT HERE IS THAT WE MAKE THE BOTTOMS SOFT.

IF YOU CAN JUST DO MOST OF THEM IT SHOULD BE FINE.

YOU MISS ONE OR TWO IT REALLY WON'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE.

JUST TOUCH AND PULL VERY LIGHT.

COME DOWN HERE BLEND AWAY THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE.

THIS ALMOST CREATES A LITTLE SHADOW AROUND THEM. THERE WOULD BE A LITTLE SHADOW UNDER THE TREES I THINK. ANYWHERE THAT'S TOO HARD OR IF YOU HAVE A LITTLE DARK SPOT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE YOU CAN EASILY BLEND IT AWAY.

YOUR PAPER TOWEL GETS TOO DIRTY FLIP IT AROUND AND USE THE OTHER SIDE. LET'S BEGIN THINKING ABOUT JUST A FEW LITTLE HIGHLIGHTS ON A COUPLE OF THESE CLOSER TREES. WE REALLY DON'T WANT TO OVER DO HERE, LESS IS MORE.

JUST WANT TO TOUCH IT A COUPLE OF TIMES AND IT WILL KIND OF BRING SOME OF THE CLOSER TREES FORWARD.

ALSO PUSH THE OTHER ONES BACK.

JUST DO IT HERE AND THERE AND LEAVE A LOT OF THE DARK IN YOUR TREE. NOW, I WILL TAP A 1" BRUSH WITH BLACK AND GREEN AND LET'S JUST BLOCK IN A VERY DARK AREA BACK HERE.

MAYBE TODAY I WANT TO CREATE THE EFFECT THAT WE'RE ON A HILL LOOKING DOWN INTO A NICE VALLEY, A SUN LIT VALLEY SO WE WILL WORK ON CREATING THAT EFFECT.

THIS IS JUST THE DARK PART.

WE WILL COME BACK AND MAKE IT SHINY WITH HIGHLIGHTS IN A SECOND.

IN FACT WHILE WE HAVE THIS COLOR ON THE BRUSH NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO GO AHEAD AND START TAPPING IN A COUPLE OF LITTLE BUSHES DOWN HERE. THERE'S ONE AND LET'S DO ONE MORE. THAT WILL SHOW UP BETTER WHEN WE GO TO HIGHLIGHT IT.

WITH THE FAN BRUSH AND SOME OF THE SAME COLOR WE WILL JUST TAP IN A FEW LITTLE EVERGREEN TREES HERE. NOW, MAYBE WE WILL JUST TAP DOWN TO START OFF WITH AND WE WILL GET ONLY THE SUGGESTION, AND IN JUST A SECOND WE WILL ADD A COUPLE WITH MORE DETAIL ON THEM AND LIFT UP AND CREATE THOUSANDS OF TREES QUICKLY AND TAP DOWN TO MAKE SOME LARGER ONES.

THAT GIVES US ENOUGH BACKGROUND MATERIAL.

LET'S THINK ABOUT A LARGER ONE.

HE EXTENDS RIGHT INTO THAT RIVER.

THAT'S OKAY. PUSH THE RIVER BACK.

THERE HE GOES.

JUST TAP ON SOME DETAIL. ALL RIGHT.

ONE MORE.

THESE EVERGREENS ARE SO MUCH FUN. ONCE YOU LEARN HOW TO DO THEM THEY KIND OF JUST POP RIGHT OUT OF THE BRUSH FOR YOU.

ONE LAST ONE. WE WILL DO THREE WITH MORE DETAIL TODAY.

START OFF WITH THAT LITTLE LINE AND GENTLY WORK DOWN THE TREE.

THAT ONE IS NOT NEARLY AS BIG.

KIND OF HIDDEN BACK THERE.

NEXT WE WILL TAP THE 2" BRUSH FOR A LITTLE BIT OF YELLOW AND GREEN.

LET'S GO AHEAD AND PAINT IN SOME SUN LIT GRASS JUST TAP DOWN WITH THAT BRUSH AND LOOK AT THIS.

LET IT FADE OUT TO DARK.

DO YOU SEE THAT?

I CREATED A HILL THERE. WATCH THIS.

THERE'S ANOTHER ONE.

LEAVE THAT DARK AREA IN THERE.

THAT'S WHAT MAKES IT LOOK SEPARATE.

AND MAYBE WE WILL JUST DO A LITTLE SOMETHING OUT HERE JUST TOUCH OF LAND.

YEAH, VERY SOFT GRASS.

I THINK NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO HIGHLIGHT OUR TREE, SO I WILL LOAD UP A 1" BRUSH THIS TIME.

JUST BEGIN TAPPING ON A LITTLE BIT OF HIGHLIGHT TO THIS TREE.

WE DON'T NEED A TON, JUST ENOUGH.

LEAVE A LOT OF THE DARK IN YOUR TREE. DON'T OVER HIGHLIGHT.

DON'T WANT IT TO LOOK FLAT.

SAVE THE SHADOW AREAS.

AND JUST A COUPLE OF LITTLE THINGS THAT GROW DOWN LIKE THAT WOULD BE NICE I THINK AND THIS ONE.

HE NEEDS SOME HIGHLIGHT TOO.

JUST MAKE THOSE BUSHES REALLY JUMP OUT WITH THAT NICE LIGHT.

NOW WE WILL LOAD UP THE FAN BRUSH SAME COLOR, YELLOW AND GREEN, AND WE WILL JUST TAP ON A TOUCH OF HIGHLIGHT TO A COUPLE OF THESE EVERGREENS.

KEEP THE EVERGREENS A LITTLE DARKER.

THIS ONE RIGHT THERE.

ALL RIGHT.

I THINK WE HAVE A FINISHED PAINTING.

ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS SIGN IT. >> I HAD A LOT OF FUN.

I HOPE YOU DID TOO.

TUNE IN NEXT TIME AND WE WILL DO ANOTHER GREAT PAINTING TOGETHER AND THANKS FOR WATCHING
