TRANSCRIPT

HI WELCOME BACK.

TODAY WE'RE GOING TO DO ANOTHER FUN PAINTING SO LET'S GET STARTED.

NOW BEFORE WE START PAINTING I WANT TO EXPLAIN WHAT I HAVE DONE.

I TOOK A REGULAR CANVAS AND COATED IT WITH BLACK JESO AND THEN A CLEAR MEDIUM AFTER IT DRIED AND NOW WE CAN START PAINTING AND I WILL GRAB SAP GREEN AND ALIZARIN CRIMSON AND I WILL RUN THE COLORS ACROSS THE SCREEN AND EQUAL AMOUNTS OF EACH AND I WILL GRAB A 2"

BRUSH AND LOAD IT FULL OF THAT COLOR.

THIS SHOULD LOOK BLACK.

SEE THAT.

THE CANVAS REALLY DOESN'T CHANGE BUT YOU WILL NOTICE IT.

I'M GOING TO PUT SOME WHITE OIL PAINT ON IT AND THEN IT WILL REALLY SHINE.

THAT CLEAR MEDIUM UP HERE MAKES IT EASY TO APPLY THIS BROWN.

IT WILL JUST SLIDE RIGHT ON.

THERE WE GO.

WE'RE JUST LOOKING FOR A VERY THIN LAYER. NOT TOO MUCH.

WORK IT ALL THE WAY DOWN.

A LITTLE MORE COLOR. JUST TO FINISH OFF THE BOTTOM PART.

NEXT WE'RE GOING TO ADD SOME WHITE TO THE CANVAS SO I WILL TAKE A CLEAN 2"

BRUSH WITH A LITTLE BIT OF WHITE PAINT, NOT TOO MUCH, AND KIND OF PICK A SPOT HERE IN THE MIDDLE AND START WORKING OUT, SO I'M USING BIG OVERLAPPING "X" 'S AND THE FOREST AND WE'RE SEEING BACKGROUND SHAPES AND A LIGHT HAZY MIST AND LIGHT COMING FROM BEHIND AND LOOK AT ALL THE NICE COLORS AND BROWN AND ALIZARIN CRIMSON AND SAP GREEN.

THIS TIME IT SEEMED TO HAVE MORE GREEN IN IT.

THAT'S VERY NICE. THERE WE GO.

IF YOU WANTED TO ADD A LITTLE MORE RED YOU HAVE A RUSTY BROWN COLOR AND THAT CAN ALSO BE VERY, VERY GOOD.

JUST KIND OF DEPENDS WHAT YOU WANT. LET IT GET DARK AND AS IT FADES OUT AND KEEP IT BRIGHT IN THE MIDDLE.

WE CAN MIX UP A COLOR FOR THE TREES AND THERE IS THAT ORIGINAL BROWN WITH ALIZARIN CRIMSON AND SAP GREEN.

HERE IS SOME WHITE AND TIX THEM TOGETHER AND WE WILL TEST IT AND YEAH THAT LOOKS GOOD.

LET'S USE THAT SO WE WILL TAP IT IN WITH THE CORNER OF THE BRUSH.

A LITTLE MORE PAINT.

THERE IS A NICE BROWN ONE RIGHT THERE.

IF THEY DON'T SHOW TOO WELL WE WILL ADD HIGHLIGHT TO THEM AND THEY WILL REALLY STAND OUT.

THIS IS JUST SOME BACKGROUND MATERIAL, NOT TOO CONCERNED WITH IT.

JUST TAP IN A FEW SHAPES THAT WILL END UP BEING SOME TREES.

NOW THAT WE HAVE THE TREES BLOCKED IN LET'S ADD SOME HIGHLIGHT SO I WILL TAKE A 1 " BRUSH AND THROUGH THE CADMIUM YELLOW AND TITANIUM WHITE AND A TOUCH OF SAP GREEN AND NOW LET'S ADD SOME HIGHLIGHT USING ONLY THE CORNER OF THE BRUSH TO TAP.

NOW YOU SEE HOW THE TREES POP RIGHT OUT.

YOU CAN ADD DIFFERENT COLORS.

ADD SOME INDIAN YELLOW MAKE IT ORANGE IF YOU WANT OR YOU CAN ADD BLACK TO TONE THEM DOWN. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH YOUR TREES, MAKE THEM WHATEVER COLOR.

THERE WE GO. I'M GOING TO ADD A LITTLE BROWN. THIS ONE IS NOT QUITE AS VIBRANT.

IT'S A LITTLE MORE DULL.

THERE WE GO.

NOW THAT WE HAVE SOME HIGHLIGHTS IN LET'S ADD SOME TREE TRUNKS AND MAKE THE SCRIPT LINER AND THROUGH THE BROWN AND WHITE AND I ADDED PAINT THINNER TO MAKE IT A LITTLE MORE RUNNY AND DROP IT IN.

I AM USING THE SCRIPT LINER GENTLY AND NOT TOO MUCH PRESSURE BECAUSE I WANT THEM FINE.

IF YOU WANT A THICKER TRUNK YOU CAN PUSH HARDER.

MAYBE THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THE SCRIPT LINER IS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE THE PAINT THIN ENOUGH.

I HEAR THAT ALL THE TIME AND IF YOU HAVE A ISSUE WITH THE SCRIPT LINER ADD A LITTLE MORE PAINT THINNER TO THE BRUSH AND SHOULD SLIDE OFF EASILY.

THERE WE GO.

DROPPED IN A FEW.

NOW WE WILL TAP A BRUSH THROUGH A LITTLE BIT OF MIDNIGHT BLACK AND THAT SAME ORIGINAL BROWN COLOR WE MIXED UP AND LET'S HAVE A BIG TREE UP HERE SO I WILL USE THE CORNER OF THE BRUSH TO TAP IT IN.

I WANT THIS VERY DARK.

YOU MAYBE WONDERING WHY I AM BOTHERING TO DO THIS BECAUSE IT HAS THE BLACK ON HERE.

I WANT THAT TEXTURE HERE AND IT HELPS ME PLAN OUT THE TREE.

IT WILL MAKE ME EASIER WHEN WE GO TO HIGHLIGHT. LET'S ADD A LITTLE MORE COLOR TO THAT BRUSH AND WE WILL KEEP ON MOVING.

THAT TREE OVER THERE WAS SO MUCH FUN WE NEED ANOTHER BIG ONE OVER HERE.

LOOK HOW THEY HANG DOWN INTO THE PARTICIPATING.

I THINK WHEN THEY'RE HIGHLIGHTED THAT WILL DRAW THE EYE IN TOWARDS THE CENTER.

THERE WE ARE.

VERY LOOSE SHAPE, NICE PLEASING TREE SHAPE.

THERE WE GO.

WITH THE 2"

BRUSH HIGHLIGHT SO I WILL GRAB A LITTLE CADMIUM YELLOW AND MIDNIGHT BLACK, BLACK WITH A LITTLE BIT OF GREEN IN IT REALLY AND THEN WE WILL TAP THE BRUSH, AND LET'S START SHAPING THESE TREES WITH HIGHLIGHT.

I DON'T WANT THEM TOO BRIGHT BECAUSE THEY'RE SILHOUETTED BACK HERE. IN FACT THIS TREE WILL BE DARKER THAN THE OTHER ONE.

THERE WE GO.

TAP ON A LITTLE BIT USING THE CORNER OF THE BRUSH.

IF THE PAINT DOESN'T WANT TO COME OFF ADD A LITTLE BIT OF PAINT THINNER BUT NOT TOO MUCH OF THE PAINT THINNER AND IT WILL BE RUN AND HE SLIDE AROUND TOO MUCH ON THE CANVAS.

NOW LET'S ADD SOME HIGHLIGHT TO THE OTHER TREE.

I WILL RELOAD THAT 2"

BRUSH AND START AT THE TOP GENTLY WORK IT ALL THE WAY DOWN THE TREE. THERE WE GO.

IT'S IMPORTANT THAT YOU USE A CORNER OF THE BRUSH.

IF YOU USE THE WHOLE BRUSH THEN IT WILL LOOK LIKE YOU CAME UP HERE WITH A RUBBER STAMP AND YOU WILL GET A VERY REPETITIVE SHAPE.

I DON'T WANT THAT.

TRY TO AVOID THAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

THERE WE GO. LOOK AT ALL THE DARK I AM INTENTIONALLY LEAVING.

THERE WE GO.

I LOADED A LITTLE BIT BRIGHTER COLOR.

I HAVE ADDED SOME WHITE TO THE 2"

BRUSH AND LIGHTLY TAP ON EXTRA HIGHLIGHT. DON'T DO IT EVERYWHERE, ONLY ON A FEW LIMBS.

AND JUST A LITTLE AND SHARKEL IT UP A LITTLE.

THERE WE GO.

THAT'S ENOUGH.

LET'S ADD A FEW MORE LARGER TREE TRUNKS RIGHT IN HERE.

THERE WE GO.

DON'T NEED TO SEE THE WHOLE TRUNK, JUST BITS AND PIECES OF IT AND PULL UP AND SOME LITTLE GUYS RIGHT DOWN HERE AND DO THE SAME TO THIS SIDE JUST SOMETHING TO HOLD UP THE HUGE TREES.

NOW THAT WE HAVE THE TREES IN I THINK I WANT TO ADD SOME MORE LIGHT TO THE BACKGROUND SO I WILL LOAD UP A 2"

BRUSH AND A TOUCH MORE WHITE AND RIGHT IN HERE LET'S BRIGHTEN THIS AREA UP.

THERE WE GO.

IF WE KNOCK A COUPLE OF TREES OUT IT'S ALL RIGHT.

WE WILL PUT THEM RIGHT BACK IN AND JUST AS EASY TO PUT IN.

THERE WE GO WITH THE LIGHT UP AND AROUND.

LOOK AT THAT. ALL THAT MIST SHINING BACK IN THERE AND THE TREES THAT COME OUT AND WORK OUT AND GET A LITTLE DARKER.

THERE WE GO AND LIGHTLY BLEND WITH THE FAN BRUSH AND SOME BLUE AND A TOUCH OF BROWN.

WE CAN THINK ABOUT MAYBE A STREAM BACK HERE.

MAYBE THE STREAM HAS A WATERFALL SO WE WILL PULL DOWN TO CREATE THAT. SLIDE THE BRUSH ALONG AND GIVE IT A LITTLE PULL TO CREATE THAT WATERFALL.

ALL RIGHT.

NOT TOO BIG.

AND MAYBE THERE'S A POOL OF WATER.

WE WILL WORRY ABOUT THAT LATER BUT A POOL OF WATER IS ABOUT THAT LARGE, AND THEN RIGHT HERE THERE IS GOES.

IT'S GOING TO FALL OVER AGAIN.

IT FALLS OVER KIND OF A SMOOTH ROUND ROCK SO WE HAVE A DIFFERENT SHAPE.

THERE IT GOES. NOW I WILL TAP THE CORNER OF A 2"

BRUSH WITH A LITTLE BIT OF WHITE PAINT AND WITH THAT WE WILL COME UP HERE AND TAP.

TAP VERY, VERY LIGHTLY.

WE GET A LOT OF MIST AND SPLASH JUST LIKE THAT.

IF YOU RUN OUT OF PAINT GRAB A LITTLE MORE AND CONTINUE USING ONLY THE CORNER AND THERE WE GO AND IN FACT WHILE WE HAVE THATS GOING I WANT TO PULL IT STRAIGHT DOWN AND THIS CREATES WATER. REMEMBER WE HAD ALL THE COLOR ON THE CANVAS TO BEGIN WITH SO YOU GET A LOT OF NICE COLOR VARIATIONS JUST BY PULLING DOWN WITH A LITTLE WHITE.

TURN THE BRUSH AND BLEND.

THIS GIVES YOU A NICE WATER EFFECT VERY, VERY EASILY.

ANYPLACE THAT IS TOO BRIGHT DO IT A LITTLE MORE.

I WILL RELOAD THE FAN BRUSH WITH THE SAME COLOR AND LET'S ADD A SPLASH TO THIS BACKGROUND WATERFALL.

I AM JUST PUSHING UP WITH THE FAN BRUSH.

DON'T NEED TOO MUCH HERE BECAUSE THAT WATERFALL IS NOT VERY BIG.

NOW I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU A REALLY COOL WAY TO PAINT SOME ROCKS SO LET'S START OFF WITH SOME VAN DYKE BROWN ON THE KNIFE.

I CUT ACROSS TO GET SOME PAINT ON THE TIP OF THE KNIFE AND I'M GOING TO RUB IN SOME ROCKS.

IN FACT I THINK I WILL TURN THESE INTO A LITTLE CLIFF HERE.

THIS IS VERY DARK.

MAYBE HARD TO SEE BUT I WANT THE TEXTURE ON THE CANVAS. THERE WE GO.

COME BACK. THERE'S SOME RIGHT THERE WE CAN DECIDE WHAT IS WHAT WHEN WE HIGHLIGHT IT.

FOR NOW LET'S BLOCK IT IN.

ALL RIGHT.

THAT LOOKS PRETTY GOOD.

LET'S DO ONE ON THIS SIDE TOO AND CLOSE IN THIS WATERFALL.

THERE IT GOES. MAKE THEM WHATEVER SHAPE AND SIZE THAT YOU WANT.

IT WILL BE JUST PERFECT.

ROCKS GO SO MANY DIFFERENT SHAPES.

IT'S HARD TO GET THIS WRONG.

A LITTLE MORE COLOR OUT HERE AND WE WILL BE DONE.

NOW I WILL PICK UP A LITTLE BROWN AND WHITE ON THE KNIFE AND LET'S START HIGHLIGHTING THESE ROCKS.

I'M GOING TO HIGHLIGHT THEM VERY BRIGHTLY AND NOT MUCH PRESSURE ON THE KNIFE AND I WANT THEM TO LOOK ROUGH.

THAT'S HOW YOU CREATE THAT EFFECT.

SEE HOW THE ROCKS ARE SHAPED.

THIS IS A CLIFF SO I WILL HIGHLIGHT THE TOP.

THERE WE GO.

AND LET'S DO SOME OVER HERE ON THIS SIDE. DROP THEM RIGHT IN.

IT'S SO IMPORTANT HERE THAT YOU HAVE A LIGHT TOUCH.

PUSH TOO HARD IT WILL ALL MIX TOGETHER AND YOU WON'T BE HAPPY WITH IT.

KEEP IT VERY LIGHT OR MAYBE WE DON'T NEED MUCH HIGHLIGHT HERE.

IT'S GETTING DARK AWAY FROM THE LIGHT SOURCE.

BLEND IT BACK.

YOU CAN EVEN GRAB A LITTLE BIT OF THAT COLOR AND JUST PULL DOWN. THERE WE GO.

CREATE SOME SHADOWS AND HELPS TO SHAPE THE ROCKS A LITTLE.

NOW WHAT I THINK WOULD BE REALLY COOL TO DO WOULD BE TO ADD ANOTHER LEDGE AND YOU CAN DO THAT VERY EASILY.

THE DARK IS ALREADY THERE.

IT ADDS AN EXTRA LAYER TO YOUR PAINTING.

THERE WE GO.

HELPS CREATE DEPTH.

A LITTLE MORE COLOR.

THERE IT GOES RIGHT THERE.

AND BACK TO THE DARK BROWN.

THERE'S A ROCK. SEE IT'S SO EASY.

YOU CAN WORK THE ROCKS BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN THE HIGHLIGHT AND THE SHADOW AND PUT THEM WHEREVER YOU WANT AND YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR MIND IF YOU DON'T LIKE ROCK TAKE THE KNIFE AND SCRAPE IT OFF AND DO IT AGAIN.

IT'S NOT HARD.

THERE WE GO.

MAYBE WE WILL PUT SOME BUSHES AROUND THAT AND WE WON'T WORRY ABOUT THE REST OF IT. WITH A 2"

BRUSH WE CAN GRAB THE BOTTOM OF THESE LITTLE CLIFFS AND PULL DOWN AND EVEN ADD DARK TO THE BRUSH, A LITTLE BLACK, AND THIS CREATES SOME REFLECTIONS AND THEY SHOULDN'T BE TOO BRIGHT, RIGHT THERE. THAT TONES THEM DOWN AND GENTLY BLEND ACROSS.

NOW I WILL LOAD UP THE FAN BRUSH WITH SOME WHITE AND WE NEED SOME ACTION IN THE WATER SO RUB IT BACK AND FORTH. SEE THAT.

IT CREATES ALL SORTS OF THINGS.

WATER MOVEMENTS, RIPPLES AND MAYBE SOME FOAM ON THE WATER.

THIS WATER IS MOVING PRETTY FAST BECAUSE THE WATERFALL IS BIG.

THERE WE GO. AND PROBABLY SLOWER AS IT COMES OUT HERE, LESS AND LESS OF THAT. NOW MAYBE WE NEED SOME SPLASH RIGHT HERE, A LITTLE EXTRA BRIGHT WHITE.

THERE WE GO. PUSHUP WITH THE FAN BRUSH. IT'S A GREAT WAY OF CREATING ALL THOSE SPLASHY THINGS IN THERE. MAYBE THERE'S SOME ROCKS AROUND WATER SO GIVE IT A LITTLE PUSHUP HERE AND BLEND THEM ALL TOGETHER.

NOW LET'S CREATE SOME VINES THAT HANG OVER THE CLIFF SO FOR THAT I WILL TAP A 1 " BRUSH THROUGH A LITTLE YELLOW AND GREEN, AND PICK OUT WHERE YOU WANT THEM AND DROP THEM IN. THEY DON'T NEED TO BE TOO LARGE AND DON'T EAT UP ALL THE DARK. THERE WE ARE.

MAYBE ONE RIGHT HERE.

LET THEM GROW RIGHT DOWN. NOW MAYBE WE WANT ONE THAT COMES AROUND LIKE THAT.

THAT WILL HELP PUSH THAT ROCK BACK INTO THE PAINTING.

HERE'S ONE. MAYBE THIS ONE COMES IN FRONT OF THE SPLASH.

HANGS ALMOST DOWN COMPLETELY INTO THE WATER THERE AND ONE MORE.

YOU DON'T WANT TO OVER DO.

I LIKE THESE.

THEY HAVE A GREAT LITTLE EFFECT. THERE WE ARE.

NOW LET'S ADD SOME OF THE VINES TO THIS SIDE. LET THEM GROW RIGHT DOWN, RIGHT DOWN INTO THE WATER.

THERE YOU GO.

REMEMBER IF THEY DON'T COME OFF THIN THE COLOR DOWN SLIGHTLY WITH JUST A TOUCH OF PAINLT THINNER, NOT TOO MUCH, JUST A LITTLE.

LET'S HAVE ONE GROWING ON THIS LEDGE.

THERE WE GO. THESE ARE SO MUCH FUN, BUT IT'S A GOOD IDEA NOT TO OVER DO.

IN FACT STEP BACK FROM THE PARTICIPATING AND TAKE A LOOK AT IT.

HARD TO SEE IT WHEN YOU'RE CLOSE UP. LET'S ADD ONE MORE ROCK AND BROWN WITH THE KNIFE AND DROP IT IN THERE.

JUST A TINY ROCK RIGHT THERE.

A LITTLE BIT OF HIGHLIGHT COLOR TO MAKE IT POP RIGHT OUT FOR YOU.

THERE WE GO. YOU HAVE THE FAN BRUSH AND SORT OF SET IT DOWN INTO THE PAINTING, CLEAN IT UP A LITTLE. NOW, I WILL GRAB THE 2"

BRUSH TAP IT THROUGH SOME BROWN, AND RIGHT HERE I WANT SOME LAND. DON'T BE AFRAID AND TAP IT RIGHT IN.

WE WANT ALL THAT GOOD DARK COLOR ANYWAY.

THERE IT GOES. SET THAT BRUSH DOWN.

PICK UP ANOTHER ONE.

GO THROUGH SOME LIGHT, LIGHT YELLOW, GREEN, WHATEVER.

AND HERE'S SOME HIGHLIGHT TAP IT RIGHT ON. THIS IS STICKING PRETTY WELL.

IF YOURS DOESN'T ADD A LITTLE PAINT THINNER.

LOOK AT THAT YELLOW. KIND OF NICE AND SPARKLE YELLOW. THERE WE GO.

DARKER AS IT COMES DOWN TOWARD THE BOTTOM.

IN FACT I REALLY LIKE THAT YELLOW.

I WILL PUT SOME OF THAT OVER HERE. THERE WE GO.

LET'S ADD SOME TREES.

SO I WILL TAKE THE KNIFE PULL IT THROUGH A LITTLE BROWN AND RIGHT HERE WITH THE DROP IN A BIG TREE.

KIND OF BLOCK OUT THE BASIC IDEA AND THEN FILL IT IN.

THIS IS GOOD DARK BROWN. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT NOW THAT THIS IS DARK.

WE WILL TURN IT INTO MAYBE A BURCH TREE.

I THINK THAT SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF FUN BUT WE MUST START OUT WITH A VERY DARK BASE.

DROP IN SOME COLOR.

THERE WE GO.

NOW BIRCH TREES NORMALLY GROW IN CLUMPS SO WE WILL ADD ANOTHER ONE.

THEY DON'T USUALLY GROW ALL BY THEMSELVES.

MORE COLOR.

THERE WE GO.

SEE HOW IT ALREADY STARTS TO PUSH SOME OF THAT BACKGROUND STUFF EVEN FURTHER AWAY.

PUSHES IT RIGHT BACK INTO THE DISTANCE AND ONE LAST TREE. I THINK WE WILL HAVE THREE TODAY.

DROP IT RIGHT IN. LET'S MAKE THOSE TREES JUMP RIGHT OFF THE CANVAS SO FOR THAT I WILL GRAB A LITTLE WHITE ON THE KNIFE AND WE WILL START RIGHT HERE IN THE MIDDLE AND GIVE IT A LITTLE ROUND PULL.

IT WILL MAKE THE TREE LOOK ROUND, THREE DIMENSIONAL.

THERE WE GO. THIS IS ONLY STEP ONE.

WE'RE GOING TO COME BACK AND ADD MORE SOME TEXTURE AND ADD SOME DARK BACK IN.

THERE WE GO.

THE TINIEST BIT OF HIGHLIGHT TO ONE SIDE ONLY.

DON'T HIGHLIGHT THE WHOLE TREE.

NOW I CHANGED BACK TO THE SAME ORIGINAL BASE COLOR, AND HERE AND THERE I WANT TO PULL FROM THE OTHER SIDE.

THIS IS WHERE YOU MAKE THEM LOOK A LOT LIKE BUNCH TREES, A LOT OF BURCH BARK IN THERE.

GIVE IT A LITTLE PULL.

YOU CAN WORK THE WHITE AND THE BROWN BACK AND FORTH. IF YOU KNOCK OUT TOO MUCH WHITE IT'S EASY TO ADD IT IN LATER OF THE JUST GET SOME OF THE NICE DARK IN THERE.

THERE WE GO. BACK TO THE WHITE.

MAYBE RIGHT HERE AND SNEAK BACK IN WITH A LITTLE WHITE, GIVES IT A LITTLE PULL.

BACK TO THE DARK.

NOW I WILL PULL THE SCRIPT LINER THROUGH SOME BROWN AND WHITE AND PAINT THINNER.

CAN YOU SEE HOW TO DO THIS?

THIS IS JUST LIKE THE BACKGROUND TRUNKS.

WE'RE JUST GOING TO DROP SOME LIMBS ONTO THESE TREES.

IF THE PAINT DOESN'T WANT TO COME OFF WHEN YOU DO THIS THEN THIN IS DOWN. THERE WE GO.

I CHOSE A NICE BRIGHT COLOR SO YOU CAN SEE IT AGAINST ALL OF THE DARK.

MAYBE IF YOU'RE PAINTING AND HAVE A LIGHTER BACKGROUND MAYBE YOU CHOOSE A DARKER COLOR.

THERE YOU GO.

YOU CAN CHANGE THINGS UP MAKE THEM LOOK JUST RIGHT AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO OVER BOARD OR WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT THESE BECAUSE I'M GOING TO HAVE LEAVES ON THE TREES AND ANYTHING WE DON'T LIKE WE WILL INTENTIONALLY COVER IT UP.

ALL RIGHT.

LET'S SOME LEAVES TO THE TREES AND 1 " BRUSH AND WITH THE BROWN AND THIS IS THE DARK UNDER PAINTING. WE WILL COME BACK AND ADD SHINY HIGHLIGHTS LATER.

THERE WE GO. TAP RIGHT ON.

NOT A HUGE DEAL. THERE'S SOME UP HERE.

THERE WE GO.

WORK BACK

AND FORTHWITH THE LIMBS AND THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH AND NICE HIGHLIGHT COLOR.

MOSTLY GREEN AND ADD SOME WHITE AND ADD SOME LEAVES.

TAP THEM WITH A CORNER OF THE BRUSH.

DON'T USE THE WHOLE BRUSH LIKE THIS.

INSTEAD PICK A CORNER AND TAP IT. LEAVE MOST OF THE DARK IN THE TREE. IF YOU COVER UP ALL THAT DARK IT WILL LOOK FLAT.

I DON'T WANT A FLAT TREE.

I WANT NICE SHADOWS AND TREES. THERE WE GO.

YOU CAN ALWAYS ADD MORE WHITE IF YOU WANT IF IT'S NOT STANDING OUT FROM THE BACKGROUND.

THERE.

NOW LET'S ADD SOME SPARKLING WHITE HIGHLIGHTS ON SO I WILL TAP THAT BRUSH THROUGH A LITTLE BIT OF THE WHITE AND NOW HERE AND THERE WE CAN ADD ON JUST A TINY, TINY BIT TO THE LEFT SIDE ONLY. THERE WE GO.

WOW THAT REALLY -- THAT BRIGHTENS IT UP QUITE A BIT.

IT POPS RIGHT OFF THEPAINTING.

DO IT A LITTLE AND THEN LEAVE IT ALONE.

THERE. DO A LITTLE WITH THE EXTRA WHITE WITH THE TIPS OF THESE TREES AND WORKED OUT GREAT OVER THERE. ALL RIGHT.

THAT LOOKS GOOD. ONLY A LITTLE AND MOSTLY WHITE. THERE WE ARE.

ALL RIGHT.

I THINK WE HAVE A FINISHED PAINTING.

ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS SIGN IT. I HAD A LOT OF FUN. I HOPE YOU DID TOO.

TUNE IN NEXT TIME AND WE WILL DO ANOTHER GREAT PAINTING TOGETHER AND . THANKS FOR WATCHING
