2012 Student Selects Update

We would like to remind all students and educators that we are now accepting submissions for the 2012 edition of Student Selects: A Young Filmmakers Showcase as well as the Young Filmmaker Scholarship contest! All the necessary information, guidelines and entry forms can be found under the the About and Scholarships pages.
All submissions MUST be postmarked by April 6th! Selections will be announced the following month, in May, 2012.

We would also like to make everyone aware that AETN is a presenter at the upcoming Student Film Symposium on January 28th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The Student Film Symposium is full day of presentations by professional filmmakers on producing, casting, art direction, cinematography, lighting, audio and distribution. It will be a very inspirational day for young up-and-coming filmmakers.
The symposium is free we just need to know that you are coming!

The Symposium will be held at JM Studios, 1200 South Scott Street, Little Rock, Arkansas.

In addition, mark your calendars for June 2-3, 2012, as we will once again partner with the Little Rock Film Festival for the YOUTH! program, featuring workshops, panels, screenings and much more! Additional information will be available soon regarding the student events at this year's Little Rock Film Festival.
