Paula A. Kerger, president and CEO of PBS, will be visiting AETN for a community conversation and reception on Wednesday, Feb. 11, starting at 5 p.m.
Kerger will begin the evening by making remarks about the Women and Girls Lead initiative — a innovative public media campaign designed to celebrate, educate, and activate women, girls, and their allies across the globe to address the challenges of the 21st century.
You’ll also have a chance to pose your own questions in the following community discussion, moderated by Dr. S. Lynne Rich, assistant professor of sociology at the University of Central Arkansas. It’s a fantastic chance to get to know PBS’ sixth president and chief executive — who has made strong commitments to the arts, news and public affairs, high-quality content for education, diversity and the use of new technology to bring public media into the lives of all Americans.
This event, along with the following reception, is free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us! To learn more, call us at 800-662-2386.
