Exciting news! Dr. M. Sanjayan — leading conservation scientist and host of “EARTH A New Wild” — is coming to Little Rock on Wednesday, Jan. 21, to participate in a free screening and panel discussion of “EARTH A New Wild.”

In partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Arkansas and the Museum of Discovery, we’re putting together an unforgettable evening to celebrate the extraordinary way humans are intimately connected to the wild animals and wild places of this planet.

Join us for a reception, screening and panel discussion at the Ron Robinson Auditorium. The panel will include Dr. M. Sanjayan and Scott Simon, director of The Nature Conservancy of Arkansas. Everyone’s favorite mad scientist, Kevin Delaney of the Museum of Discovery, will moderate the panel.

The screening of “EARTH A New Wild, which gives a preview of the upcoming PBS documentary series, is an invigorating look at the frontier where man and wildlife meet. Together, viewers will discover how humans are inextricably woven into every aspect of the planet’s natural systems and how saving and restoring wild nature is key to preserving — and enriching — our future existence. The twist? This series reveals nature as we’ve never seen it before by doing one simple thing: turning cameras around to put humans into the picture!

This special preview event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited. To reserve your ticket to the reception, screening and discussion, be sure to contact Ginsie Simmons at 501-537-3081 or by emailing gsimmons@museumofdiscovery.org no later than Jan. 19. A reservation is required to attend.
