Giovanni “Gio” Antipolo is bringing classical piano to “AETN Presents: On the Front Row” with a free concert on Thursday, Oct. 2.

An extraordinary musician and true showman, Gio has an extensive background in piano performance. Regardless of whether you’re a piano aficionado, his performances are as entertaining as they are beautiful, as you can see for yourself!

Like what you heard? Gio will play additional excerpts from Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune” and sections from Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Piano Concerto No. 3” in his free concert. Anyone interested in being part of the audience is welcome to attend.

A Little Rock native and Central High grad, Gio has an extensive background in piano performance. After high school, he went on to earn degrees in piano performance from the University of Houston and in architecture from Rice University

Now back in Arkansas’s capitol city — in addition to working as an accountant at Central Construction Group and pursuing his masters of business administration degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock - Gio teaches piano and volunteers to play at schools, nursing homes, churches and hospitals to build interest in classical music. You may have also seen him supporting local nonprofit organizations by providing musical entertainment for fundraising events — his work with the members of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, in particular, has has solidified his place as one of Arkansas’s in-demand musicians!

We hope you’ll join us to hear more exquisite classical piano - and learn more about the work and history behind it - on Thursday, Oct. 2, in AETN Studios. Meet us in the AETN lobby at 6:30 p.m. to reserve your free seat.
