This year’s festival features more than 70 outstanding author’s including PBS KIDS “Dinosaur Train”  featured paleontologist Dr. Scott Sampson, who will discuss his new book “How to Raise a Wild Child: The Art and Science of Falling in Love With Nature.” Come with us to meet Dr. Scott and Buddy the Dinosaur on Saturday, April 25, at 11:30 a.m. in the Ron Robinson Theater. Later, grown-ups can learn more about Dr. Scott’s new book at a special session which guides adults on how to become highly successful nature mentors on Saturday, April 25, at 2:30 p.m. in the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center.

The Arkansas Literary Festival “Author! Author!” party will be held Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in the Central Arkansas Library System Main Library at 100 South Rock Street, Little Rock. Partygoers will have the opportunity to toast the festival authors at this fete featuring hors d’oeuvres and librations. Festival books will be available for purchase during this party, which is geared toward adults.
