I can’t believe it, but my time at AETN is over, just like that. During my two and a half months here, I learned so many things. I learned how to work in Final Cut Pro, how to color grade, how to use certain filming techniques, how to transcribe an interview, and so much more. I’m very grateful for Kevin Clark, my producer. He taught me everything I needed to do my work with AETN, and I will be able to use those things in my future career.
It was a cool experience to work inside a studio, editing packages that I would normally see on TV. It’s a unique feeling to see that, knowing you played a large part in helping create it. I was even lucky enough to go on a video shoot during my final week, scoring some fun gifts from Green Bay Packaging. Kevin really helped me a ton during my time here, and I certainly won’t forget it.
I can only hope the next intern gets as much out of the experience as I did. I hope they learn a lot, have fun, and better themselves for their next job. As for what the future holds for me, I’m still unsure. I do know that my options are open, and I have an endless amount of possibilities. I still have a little under a year before I graduate, so I still have some time to think about it.
Signing off for the final time,
