The Arkansas Educational Television Network, in partnership with "Independent Lens" and the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), will host a free screening of "I Am Not Your Negro," Thursday, Nov. 2, at 6:30 p.m. at the CALS Ron Robinson Theater, 100 River Market Ave., Little Rock.A panel discussion on James Baldwin, writing and books will immediately follow the film. Featured panelists include Arkansas authors Daniel Black, Ph.D., and Vincent Tolliver. Dr. Black - who spent his boyhood in rural Conway County, Arkansas - is an award-winning novelist and professor of African American Studies at Clark Atlanta University. Tolliver is Little Rock based writer, activist and James Baldwin scholar."
