Joy Bauer to visit AETN with 'Food Remedies' television special
Posted 26 Nov 2014
Joy Bauer, MS, RDN, CDN, nutrition and health expert for NBC's "TODAY" show, will be live in the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) studios Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m. to discuss her new program, "Food Remedies."
"As a lifelong viewer of Public Broadcast Service (PBS), I am on a mission to help this outstanding, community-driven network thrive," Bauer said of her new special. "PBS has played an influential role in my personal history, offering some of my favorite TV programs from early childhood … to the present day.
"No other network provides such enriching, educational and entertaining programs without commercial interruptions or large corporations pulling strings behind the scenes – and I believe that deserves to be celebrated every day."
During the broadcast of "Food Remedies," Bauer will make available her exclusive comprehensive wellness package, the "Joy of Health Collection," which includes resources to help an individual lose weight, stay energized and reduce the risk for developing serious health conditions like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis.
The "Joy of Health Collection" includes:
- A step-by-step, 21-day workbook.
- The ultimate grocery shopping guide.
- A series of seven DVDs, offering weight-loss tips and inspiration, delicious recipes, energizing snack ideas and more.
- Bauer's No. 1 New York Times best-selling book, "Food Cures."
- A one-year membership to Bauer's interactive, online weight-loss site.
