'Outdoor Hotline,' a live call in program hosted by AETN Deputy Director and veteran reporter Tony Brooks, will air on the Arkansas Educational Television Network Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m.
'It's great to be partnering with our friends at the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission for another 'Outdoor Hotline,'' Brooks said. 'This fall will bring substantial changes to Arkansas's hunting regulations.
'This program will provide a tremendous opportunity for Arkansas hunters like me to get the latest information and insure a safe and memorable 2016 season.'
Arkansas Game & Fish Commission officials will discuss the coming fall and winter hunting season, with an emphasis on questions regarding the state's first hunting season since the detection of chronic wasting disease in deer and elk. The agency's waterfowl biologist will provide a report on duck and goose hunting in the state, and AGFC panelists also will discuss feral swine and methods being used to control them.
Viewers can submit questions by phone, (800) 662-2386, or e-mail, email@example.com.
Panelists include: Jeff Crow, AGFC director; Brad Carner, AGFC chief of wildlife management; Col. Pat Fitts, AGFC chief of enforcement; Luke Naylor, AGFC waterfowl program coordinator; Cory Gray, AGFC deer program coordinator; and Ralph Meeker, AGFC assistant deer program coordinator.
The program is underwritten by the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
