Ken Burns' "Country Music" Premiere

The wait is over – "Country Music" is here! AETN will be airing special country music-inspired programming leading up to the premiere Sunday, Sept. 15.

AETN will host free screening events, in addition to featuring special local programming and a new podcast.

Tune in Sept. 15-18 and Sept. 22-25 at 7 each night.

"Talkin' Country"

Each night after "Country Music," AETN will air “Talkin’ Country” with host Bob Robbins, Arkansas radio icon and 105.1 The Wolf morning personality, along with country music experts Charles Haymes, country music journalist and vice president of the Arkansas Country Music Awards, Jon Raney, chief engineer at Raney Recording Studio, and other special guests discussing each night’s episode.

Tune in beginning Sunday, Sept. 15, immediately following "Country Music."

"Country Fried" – bringing you the best country music conversations.

This podcast miniseries, hosted by Arkansas singer-songwriter Ryan Harmon, features conversations with country music icons and Arkansas favorites like Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Charlie Daniels, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Shawn Camp, Marty Raybon of Shenandoah and more.

AETN has partnered with the Arkansas Women's Hall of Fame to feature inductees in a new digital series. Watch every Wednesday on AETN's Facebook page to meet Arkansas women who have helped shape our state in incredible ways.

AETN will also air a special half hour program about these inductees Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m.

Schedule Changes

AETN's new evening lineups

Starting Monday, Sept. 30, "PBS NewsHour" will move to 6 p.m. each weeknight; "PBS NewsHour Weekend" will move to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays; "BBC World News" will move to 10 p.m. each weeknight; and "Arkansas Week" will move to 7:30 p.m. Friday nights. Finally, Thursdays at 7 p.m. will serve as a dedicated time slot for all of AETN's newest local shows and films.
