Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive 2017

For the past four years, Arkansans have helped libraries across the state to collect thousands of sweaters in the memory of Fred Rogers’ neighborly spirit. Won’t you help a neighbor and help continue this outstanding legacy?

This November, you can join AETN, 35 participating libraries, the Arkansas Salvation Army and local Arkansas charities as we collect new and gently used sweaters and winter clothing for the 2017 Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive.

Last year, Arkansans donated more than 5,000 sweaters for neighbors in need and, as what promises to be another chilly winter approaches, we hope to collect sweaters and clothing items to reach even more of those in our communities.

2017 Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood participating drop off locations include:

Fred Rogers began the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive in 1997 as a way to encourage the neighborly spirit, and we’re proud to continue his legacy of being a caring neighbor. Every sweater collected in the 2017 Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive will be donated directly to individuals in need through The Salvation Army of Arkansas or local charities.
