“Skinny Gut, Vibrant You With Brenda Watson”
Bestselling author and digestive expert Brenda Watson, C.N.C., will be live in AETN Studios to discuss solutions to Americans’ frequent digestive disorders. Her program, “Skinny Gut, Vibrant You” demonstrates the newest science showing that the gut bacteria is different between overweight and lean people and explores how balancing one’s gut bacteria can aid in weight loss and improved health. Tuesday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m.  

“Joy Bauer’s Food Remedies”
Popular “TODAY” show expert guest and nutritionist Joy Bauer appears live in AETN Studios to introduce her comprehensive wellness package, “Food Remedies,” which was created exclusively for PBS. The program and complementary “Joy of Health Collection” provide advice for losing weight, staying energized and reducing risk of developing serious health conditions – such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease and arthritis. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 7 p.m.

Expert panelists – including Portia Knowlton, executive director of the Arkansas AIDS Foundation; Cornelius Mabin, chief operating officer of The Living Affected Corporation; and Dr. Naveen Patil, medical director of the HIV/STD & Hepatitis Programs of the Arkansas Department of Health – discuss HIV/AIDS and its current impact, in addition to reviewing how the virus is contracted and its signs and symptoms. The panel will also address how individuals can maintain a quality life while living with HIV, stigma HIV-positive individuals may encounter, how to get tested, the importance of receiving treatment, health care options available and prevention.
