Tickets to Celtic Thunder's performance Sunday, Oct. 27, at 5 p.m. in the Arkansas Best Corporation Performing Arts Center at the Fort Smith Convention Center are now available exclusively through the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) Foundation.
Celtic Thunder is a group featuring six male vocalists: Neil Byrne of Ireland; Emmet Cahill of Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland; George Donaldson of Glasgow, Scotland; Keith Harkin of Derry, Northern Ireland; Ryan Kelly of Moy in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland; and Colm Keegan of Dublin, Ireland.
Following the success of "Heritage" and "Voyage," Celtic Thunder continues to explore their Irish and Celtic roots in their "Mythology" tour, a story of the Celtic People, their legends, their culture and their stories. All six Celtic Thunder principals are featured prominently in solo numbers and ensembles pieces, including songs such as "Carrickfergus," "The Isle of Inisfree," "The Star of the County Down" and "The Rocky Road to Dublin." Original tracks written especially for the "Mythology" tour will also be performed.
Celtic Thunder live shows are known for dramatic effects via lighting and choreography, as well as realistic Irish stage sets with authentic Irish instruments. The performances feature dramatic solos, compelling ensembles, and comedic acts. Celtic Thunder is viewed by millions on PBS with record number of sold out shows and hailed as Billboard's Top World Artist, Album and Imprint for 2009 and 2011.
