Exploring Arkansas with Chuck Dovish
It's all in one state -- you name it as far as high adventure is concerned, and you can find it here in Arkansas -- The Natural State. If extreme adventure is your thing, then you won't want to miss this exciting weekly show.
Modeled after National Geographic Explorer, it's all the best of what this magnificent state has to offer -- from whitewater action, to cave exploration, mountain biking, hiking, hang-gliding, hot air ballooning, parasailing, rappelling, extreme water sports, skydiving and of course, all the adventures that are offered on the country's first designated national river -- the Buffalo National River.

September's Episode
The Longpool Falls Recreation Area northwest of Dover is well-known for its camping and swimming opportunities but not too many folks are aware of the falls behind the camping area until now. Its not quite the Caribbean coral reef, but the rock reefs in one of the clearest lakes in the country Lake Ouachita make for quite a snorkeling outing at Crawdad Island. The Nars and Skull Bluff along the middle portion of the Buffalo National River are two very unusual rock formations which are explored in the closing segment.
Watch for the program on Mondays at 6:30 pm. or Sundays at 4:30 p.m.
