Barnes and... A Conversation With The Liuzzo Family


Steve visits with the children of the late civil rights activist Viola Liuzzo. She was a member of the NAACP and she provided logistical, coordinative and transportation for the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches. She was also the first white female killed during the Civil Rights Movement. Her children Anthony Liuzzo, Mary Liuzzo Lilleboe, and Sally Liuzzo-Prado share her courageous story.
